It’s been a few weeks since our tour, and now we bring you our final recap tour video with all our highlights.

Come on Over Tour – Let the movie play
Our tour started in Ditzingen, where we visited the EURONICS Deutschland eG Headquarters. Our equipment, bar, ice-cream parlor and pop-corn machine had a good first test.
After Dizingen, we had great second day in Brussels. Before sunrise we parked right in front of the Vanden Borre headquarters in Sint Pieters Leeuw to catch the purchasers and product specialists right after they left their cars.
On our third day, we were in Rotterdam, home to customers like Coolblue, MediaMarkt Nederland, Expert (Nederlandse Expert Groep) and our partners at Schuurman Groep. Our colleagues from Schuurman showed great interest in the entire range.
In Langenhagen, we visited expert SE and were super proud to welcome Frank Harder, member of the executive board, and his team on our bus.
Of course Berlin was also part of our tour. There we invited guests to a “tour des senses”. A detailed report about the event can be found Aqipa comeonovertour 2.
Next to Warsaw and Vienna, we also stopped in Ingolstadt, where we visited the MediaMarkt headquaters.
On our tour, we demonstrated the advantages of Blueair purifiers with our new POS solution, our Singer Lion. O. King danced away to the tunes of his Marshall speaker, and we gave everybody the chance to test our scooters by Unagi. We presented our new audio brand VietaPro, our smart projectors from XGIMI and the latest GoPro portfolio while hosting a memorable Braun Audio event. Of course, Pure, TEAC, Zingali and many more cool brands were not to be missed either.

Interview – Klaus Trapl (Aqipa, Vice President Sales)
Mr. Trapl, what are the main topics at Aqipa at the moment?
Aqipa has developed from an audio and accessories specialist to a real all-rounder for brown and white goods and covers five broad categories, all with special highlights: First, Audio Gear with special dealer promotions for Braun Audio, a smash hit music system from Pure and the newly launched Vieta Pro brand.
Secondly, Active Gear with GoPro, the world novelty and action communicator Milo and now in Austria, Poland and Italy also with Hyperice. Thirdly, Home Gear with two new brands in carbonation; Aqvia from Linde and the eco-pioneer MySoda from Finland and, of course, the air purifier specialists from Blueair.
Fourthly, Entertainment Gear with the smart projectors from XGIMI. And fifth, Mobility Gear, for which we have a real premium brand in Unagi.
At the beginning of September, your sales team was on the “Come on Over” tour. What was shown? And what was the response from the trade?
The idea of the tour came because we didn’t have an IFA to present the brands this year either, and it went down extremely well with the customers. This gave us the opportunity to visit our biggest partners directly on their doorstep and personally present a fireworks display of new products and exciting brands.
Highlights were the smart throw TVs from XGIMI with integrated Harman Kardon sound system and a compact and lightweight Android projector. Another highlight was the new audio brand Vieta Pro from Spain, which is already number one in BT speakers on the Iberian Peninsula. Both brands were very well received by the partners.
Blueair was able to convince with its award-winning, energy-efficient and super-quiet air purifiers, which have been proven to filter up to 99.99 percent of viruses from the air. We also presented the new Evoke series from Pure.
Are there any new interesting lifestyle brands in Aqipa’s portfolio?
The biggest highlight is certainly the e-scooter from Unagi. Founded by the Beats Music makers, the scooter currently offers probably the best on the market: front- and rear-wheel drive, ultra-lightweight construction and portable for young and old. The “Come on Over” tour didn’t only feature many test rides, but we were also able to present the top-designed product at the IAA in Munich.
In addition, we are currently launching two new carbonator brands: MySoda scores with the first sparkling water maker that is made from biocomposite from the wood industry instead of using full plastic. As a second brand, we were able to win Aqvia, which offers a high-quality design product with Elegance and, as a Swedish company, belongs to the Linde Gas Group. This means that Aqipa can now also offer gas cylinders.
You also have Pure in your portfolio. What is special about the audio products of this brand?
The Pure brand from England is known as the founder of digital radio. The Evoke range was launched 20 years ago. At that time, the Evoke was the first DAB radio under 100 GBP, then it was further developed many times and today it is Pure’s most successful product range. In 2021 Pure will launch a new version of the Evoke.
Here, special attention has been paid to the target group of the “Modern Audio Society”, which after all represents two thirds of the population and is evolving from a radio to a modern music system.
Whether Internet, DAB+, FM, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth or even the good old CD: the device offers a great sound experience in an appealing design for all those who want neither “Alexa” nor “hey Google” as a roommate and still don’t want to do without good sound and the whole world of Internet radio and streaming.
Another brand in your distribution is XGIMI with smart projectors. What is special about these products?
XGIMI projectors are the perfect companions for the modern home cinema fan. They are equipped with a battery so that you can celebrate home cinema or football events with your friends anytime and anywhere. In addition, a Harman Kardon sound system is integrated into each projector to provide the necessary sound quality.
Android TV provides access to all popular streaming platforms or movies stored on the device. With the so-called Auto Keystone Correction, the projector aligns itself automatically, whether focus or keystone setting.
For your customers, you offer the Gear Guide. What is meant by this?
Once a month, Aqipa offers all newsletter subscribers deals from the product range, thought leadership articles and interviews on the subject of retail and consumer electronics.

Can Aqipa ensure the availability of goods for the seasonal business?
Of course, we also had to deal with bottlenecks, especially in the hi-fi sector. However, we are currently in the fortunate position of being able to guarantee very good product availability for all the brands we represent for the autumn.
